What's it worth to you?

Recently we have had people question the pricing for our Cazal frames.

Here is some info on why they are worth their price and more.

Not only are they just damn good looking and original pieces but they are also Dead Stock; what does that mean? It means they aren't made anymore. We can't just order more from the manufacturer. Even the 858 model which was reproduced recently by Swagger is still worth more as an original because it is THE original. These glasses are not pre-owned and are in tip top shape for being over 20 years old.

Now, even if they were brand new and we were back in 1985 the price would still be worth it because the quality and craftsmanship of these frames is impeccable!

Made with highest quality china laquers instead of enamels
Hand painted
Coated several times in 24K gold plating

If you have ever worn Cazal or even picked a pair up the weight is different than your average frame, you can see where all the pieces are held together with screws not just glued together.

These are not merely novelty items, these are collectors items and those who know, KNOW.

Not to mention that compared to sites such as vintage-sunglasses-shop.com our prices are beyond reasonable. Their asking price for 858 is $1500+ ours is $600. Not to knock on them, they are definitely worth the $1500 if someone is willing to pay for it.

So next time you think "dang, that's pricey!" think about its value not just its price

Peace, Love, and Vintage
